Various records and achievements in the Bundesliga

In this article I would like to talk in more detail about those achievements that few people know about. We are used to the fact that most of us know the main records, but now we will talk about little-known facts. Not everyone knows, but the longest winning streak in the history of the Bundesliga was issued by Bayern, which won 19 victories from the 9th to 27th rounds of the 2013/14 championship.

The longest running streak without defeat occurred in 2014, when Bayern surpassed Hamburg’s 1982/83 historical record for unbeaten games out of 36. The new football record reached 53 games.

Number of titles

Bayern have no equal in terms of the number of Silver salad bowls in the highest football championship in Germany – 31. The closest pursuers:

  • Nuremberg – 9
  • Borussia D – 8
  • Schalke – 7
  • Hamburg – 6
  • “Stuttgart” and “Borussia” M – 5.

Top scorer football awards

Gerd Müller has been the top goalscorer in the Bundesliga seven times.. The closest pursuers fell far behind. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Ulf Kirsten each have three wins in the goal scoring race. Gerd Müller has been the top scorer in the Bundesliga seven times.

Before the start of the 2021/2022 season, Roberta Lewandowski became the top scorer of the championship 6 times, but at the end of the season, the 33-year-old forward scored 35 goals. Thus, the Pole for the 7th time became the top scorer of the tournament, repeating the record of the former Munich striker Gerd Muller.

The closest pursuers fell behind. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Ulf Kirsten each have three wins in the scoring race.

Other goalscoring records

In August 1977, a match between Cologne and Werder Bremen took place, in which the Goats forward Dieter Müller scored six goals. The fastest goal is a record that is very difficult to repeat and even more difficult to beat this record.

This achievement is shared by forwards Karim Bellarabi and Kevin Folland. It took nine seconds for the first to hit the gates of Borussia Dortmund in 2014 in a Bayer T-shirt. The second in the same time scored Bayern in 2015.

Also, we should not forget about the penalty. Many people think that it is not at all difficult to score from a 11-meter mark, but they are very mistaken. In addition to skill, even more confidence is needed.

The greatest number of such goals scored defender Manfred Kalz made 53 shots from the penalty mark during his tenure at Hamburg. And how could we forget about the goal from the farthest distance.

This crazy goal was scored by Paderborn midfielder Moritz Stoppelkamp in 2014. He hit the Hannover goal with a scoring shot from 82 meters.
